THE LIMERICK MATRON CHAMPIONSHIP

Open to Limerick Lady qualifiers, aged 3 years and over, provided that they are in foal to or have a foal at foot by an APPROVED THOROUGHBRED STALLION listed in the I.H.R.  

  Entry Fee to Championship €15.   Application Forms for Championship available from

 CLOSING DATE FRIDAY 8th AUGUST

REGULATIONS

1.     For Matrons with Foal at foot covering details for 2007 signed and dated by the stallion owner, must be entered in the passport (Green Book) and available for inspection on Show day.

2.        Matrons without foal at foot must have a current pregnancy certificate, signed and dated by a veterinary surgeon, available for inspection on Show day.

Failure to comply with these regulations will lead to disqualification.

 PRIZES:                Champion €300 and The Perpetual Challenge Trophy:   Reserve: €250; Third €200:  Fourth €150: 

Best 3 year-old €150  (if not the Champion or Reserve)

Best Turned Out Handler & Matron €100

Each non-prize winning 3 year-old filly presented will receive €125 and all other non-prize winning Matrons presented will receive €65.
